Course Description

Accidents can happen anywhere, at work, at home, or whilst out driving. If you were the first on the scene of an accident, would you know what to do. The choices you make in those first few minutes could make the difference between life and death. ABC Lifesavers Casualty Scene Management Course can provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary to manage an accident scene involving casualties until the arrival of the Emergency Services.

The ABC Lifesavers Casualty Scene Management Course has been developed to provide first aiders with the skills, knowledge and confidence required to manage accidents involving casualties until the arrival of the Emergency Services.  

This hands-on course covers the following topics; Scene Safety, Contacting the Emergency Services, Casualty Management, Casualty Triage, Primary and Secondary  Survey, Head to Toe Examination, Vital Signs Assessment.

Course Delivery 

This course can be delivered/assessed in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.

Understanding vital signs is critical for anyone involved in first aid, paramedicine, or healthcare, as they offer key insights into a person’s overall condition and can guide urgent decision-making.
