Andy Brayshaw

Andy is the owner and Head Trainer of ABC Lifesavers. For over 45 years he has been passionate about empowering others to have the skills, knowledge and confidence to manage first aid related emergencies in any crisis situation.

With over 45 years hands on knowledge and experience under his belt in numerous environments including remote, hostile and austere he has proved himself as both a pre-hospital care provider and trainer. Andy’s experience stems from his service in both the British and Australian military, working with private and corporate organisations across a broad range of industries. More recently he has worked with childcare providers, the construction industry, security and close protection personnel, and individuals, up skilling them with basic first aid training through to advanced specialist training.

Andhy has developed a variety of specialised pre-hospital care packages, from basic first aid to advanced trauma life support and trauma management. He has been a train the trainer and assessor for other, first aid professionals. Andy prides himself on being a professional trainer and couple his experience with qualifications and up-to-date professional development training.

Andy is a Member of the National Association of Emergency Medical Technicians,, the Australasian College of Paramedicine, Australian Tactical Medical Association and a Member of the Australian Institute of Professional Facilitators.
